Main goals
The mission aims to evaluate the project "Cashing in on Cashew". The project aims to create "an economically viable and self-sustaining cashew value chain in Sierra Leone by increasing trade volumes and productivity, generating income and jobs for cashew smallholders and exporters".
The mission will mainly focus on the impact and relevance of the project and reflect on driving factors that contribute(d) to the realized outcomes. Conclusions regarding relevance, effectiveness and sustainability of the project interventions will be drawn so as the lessons learned, successes and failures
Specific objectives
SO1. Provide insight on the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact and sustainability of the project interventions, from its start until the end of project
SO2. Determine the cost effectiveness of the project and the overall achievements taking into consideration item 1 above
SO3. Provide, based on these findings, concrete and well-substantiated recommendations to all partners to ensure sustainability of project results after the end of the project
SO4. Provide lessons learned and best practices that will be useful for similar projects in future for the same sector

Agronomist with a degree from the French National School of Agricultural Science and Engineering of Toulouse (INP ENSAT), he works on the analysis of agroindustrial projects and provide consultancy for promoters and investors of agro value chains. He also provides technical assistance and consultancy for small to large scale agricultural to switch to organic or regenerative practices
