Main goals

Study the possibilities of intervention of an integrated project inside and around an (agro) forest of 13,000 ha

Specific objectives

SO1. Establish a typology of farming systems in order to be able to define social safeguards adapted to the client strategy and to each type of producers
SO2. Estimate the amount of cocoa currently produced inside the forest and to explore the potential for organic cocoa marketing

Activities

A1. Prepare a methodology for the agrarian diagnosis and elaborate the questionnaire
A2. Realize the survey to 80 producers in the field
A3. Analyze collected data
A4. Define the typology and links between agricultural production and deforestation
A5. Elaborate the recommandations to the client
A6. Estimate the cocoa current production
