Main goals

The fauna of Kibale Park, and in particular the chimpanzees, are threatened by monoculture which leads, on the one hand, to the degradation and loss of habitats and, on the other, to facial deformations in monkeys due to chemicals . This is why the project aims to set up support and technical monitoring on the ground to create a sustainable economic dynamic in favor of producers and biodiversity.

Specific objectives

SO1. Improve the income of small producers around Kibale Park.
SO2. Mitigate the impact of agriculture on wildlife by supporting agroecological practices (non-use of chemicals).
SO3. Create jobs and generate an alternative and viable economic model for transformation.
