Main goals
- Analysis of the value chain and demand of the gum arabic market in the Guéra region
- Proposed actions for capacity building in management, marketing and financing of the Federation and the 6 gum producers' Unions in the study area for the design of the action plan for this new phase
Specific objectives
Strengthen the program initiated in 2009 as part of a new phase of expansion in 2014-2016: identify priorities, the main strategic areas of development and opportunities for the realization of larger-scale projects, supported since 2009 in the program framework (ACACIA, PAFGA, PRCC, EHAT) and related to regional / global issues

R1. Study report of the value chain and the demand of the gum to help the actors of the sector to have a better mutual knowledge of the role and added value of each link of the chain
R2. Training materials and training report for capacity building of gum arabic producers/pikers in business management (simplified accounting, marketing, entrepreneurial culture) and in financial management (budgeting, management of the saving)
R3. Feasibility report of a financing scheme of Groupings / Unions by microfinance (Warrantage, telephony, exporter)
R4. Preparation of the complete file for the offer of the Technical Assistant of the PRCC
