Capitalization on Biogas and improved woodstoves in Madagascar

The workshop was organised by Nitidæ on November 14 2017 in Antananarivo and brought together many players of these sectors, in the presence of the Directeur des Energies Alternatives. The main goals of this morning were to communicate on the existing experiences in Madagascar and to demonstrate the relevance of these two technologies to the country context. The major initiatives presented their actions. Major issues and deployment challenges of improved woodstoves and biodigesters on a larger scale were debated.

These discussions helped to establish measures for improvement including regulation and sharing information between actors to ensure projects’ success.
