Job Offer - Institutional and Gender Manager in the Cashew Nut Value Chain in Mozambique
You will help strengthen the cashew value chain in order to increase the income of small producers and preserve natural resources in a strengthened institutional context
Your main missions:
- Ensure the implementation and coordination of institutional support and capacity building activities of the IAM, mainly in the definition of policies and strategies for the promotion of the cashew sector;
- Coordinate with the various partners and projects currently implemented (GIZ, SPEED +);
- Support the IAM in the preparation and animation of the Almond Committee meetings;
- Support the preparation and lead conferences or technical work meetings;
- Represent the ACAMOZ project whenever necessary;
- Institutional support to the IAM on almonds under its supervision, in particular the development of Macâdamia production in Mozambique;
- Ensure that the gender issue is integrated at all project levels (sector policies, field activities and beneficiaries of the pilot project in Zambezia) and at the monitoring-evaluation level (data collected and indicators monitored),
- Ensure the transmission of the elements of the N’Kalô methodology, as well as the evolution of the platform and content,
- Transmit the N'Kalô methodology, conduct training on N'Kalô and support the IAM and its analysts in the collection and analysis of market data, as well as in the use for its activities and policies;
- Write or contribute to the drafting of studies or analyzes, educational materials, as well as technical reports on the progress or capitalization of the project.
Candidate profile:
- Motivation for the missions and objectives of Nitidæ
- Education: Master in agrarian economics
- Experience: at least 5 years of professional experience in the development of value chains, politics and economy in the rural world, the processing sector, the promotion and integration of the gender dimension
