We are recruiting 4 positions as part of the implementation of the BE-IN project in Burkina Faso

An organic farming certification manager, a technical sales manager, an agricultural/sesame trainer advisor and an agricultural/soya trainer advisor

Nitidæ is recruiting staff as part of the implementation of the BE-IN project "Organic, Fair & Inclusive" funded by GIZ in Burkina Faso. The BE-IN project is led by Nitidæ in partnership with UNPCB.

Nitidæ has been present in Burkina Faso for more than ten years and currently has a team of around thirty agents. Nitidæ Burkina Faso operates practically in almost all regions of the country. Its representation headquarters are in Ouagadougou with 3 sub-offices in Bobo Dioulasso, Léo and Po.

The overall objective of the BE-IN project is to promote an organic rotational cropping model with a fair marketing system to strengthen the resilience of organic cotton producers on the outskirts of the PONASI complex. The specific objectives of the project are grouped around three points which are:

  • Deploy a sustainable agricultural production model of rotation around cotton, certified organic, favorable to the improvement of biodiversity and integrating a long-term support system for organic cotton producers living near the PONASI complex.
  • Set up a fair and equitable marketing mechanism guaranteeing sustained income to organic cotton producers on the outskirts of the PONASI complex.
  • Support the households of organic cotton producers for better resilience to food crises and climate change.
