Recruitment of a project manager (VSI) for the NAMULI project in Mozambique
This position consists of coordinating the NAMULI project in close collaboration with the project partners for the implementation of activities in the communities of Mont Namuli
The mission will be conducted in close consultation with the Director of Nitidæ in Mozambique as well as all members of the project team (based in France), to guide the project's orientation and support the coordination of the project with the partners and donors.
The Volunteer - Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Plan activities and coordinate the implementation of activities in the field in close collaboration with the LUPA team
- Coordinate the implementation of the community land demarcation project with the NGO Terra Firma and ORAM and the participation of the authorities concerned with a view to setting up a community protected area
- Identify capacity building needs and prepare training
- Contribute to the development of the project's technical intervention with producers (conservation agriculture, agroforestry system) and the development of sustainable value chains (honey, coffee, etc.)
- Carry out the monitoring and evaluation of project activities by setting up a database, a mapping system (GIS) and an information collection system
- Produce technical and financial progress reports of the project or other documents (capitalization report, technical sheets, training support, awareness)
- Collaborate with the relevant authorities at district and provincial level (agriculture, protected areas)
- Work with the Nitidæ project team based in France (Lab, agriculture experts, etc.)
- Ensure the link and a good level of information within teams and partners
