Main goals
Proparco finances a company in Brazil. Proparco and the company requested the services of Nitidæ to carry out Environmental and Social Due Diligence of the company.
Specific objectives
OS1. Evaluate the company’s performance against the national and international requirements, on labour, health and safety, social and environmental "E&S" issues; and, if necessary, to determine improvement measures.
OS2. To extensively assess the company’s supply chain sustainability and map their supply scheme.
OS3. Evaluate the environmental impacts of the processing and collection of açaí as well as the working and living conditions of producers/collectors.
OS4. Assess the capabilities of the company's teams and processes to manage a sustainable supply of açaí.
