BIONUTS - Support for organic farming of an Ivorian cashew nut processing plant (30000 MT/year) and establishment of an organic supply network

Main goals
Support the cashew processing company, currently processing 20,000 tonnes of raw cashew nuts per year, in the development of a certified Organic Agriculture volume of 10,000 tonnes of raw cashew nuts per year, involving certification at the level of suppliers (cooperatives) and factory certification
Specific objectives
S01. Identify cooperatives to set up a reliable and profitable supply chain for organic raw cashew nuts (RCN), while minimizing the risk of contamination
S02. Strengthen the existing traceability system to cover the control criteria of the organic specifications
S03. Carry out any action necessary for the factory and the cooperative to obtain their Organic Agriculture certificate issued by the Certification Body, and thus meet the needs of the organic market
S04. Improve the economic (more added value on the territory), socio-environmental and organizational impacts
