Main goals
Strengthen Ivory Coast's capacity to implement WTO agreements (member since 1995) and facilitate its participation in multilateral trade negotiations.
Specific objectives
- Strengthen the institutional capacity of Ivory Coast to implement and negotiate WTO agreements through the training of trainers (Ministries and University), which will immediately transmit the expertise to relevant institutions and economic operators.
- Achieve concrete results, by boosting private public dialogue, on the implementation of existing WTO agreements (reform roadmap and implementation timetable) and negotiations of future agreements (proposals for positions and specific commitments).
- Strengthen the capacity of Ivorian economic interests to express themselves in Geneva.
