Partners
Main goals
The general objective of the consultation is to give the EU Delegation in Guinea, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of Guinea all the elements necessary to decide on the approval of a new program, NaturaGuinée, support to three landscapes of Guinea (savannah, forest, mangroves) and to the flagship species of fauna. In particular, it will have to meet the imperatives of the NaturAfrica landscapes whose integrated approach is based on three pillars: conservation of natural capital, sustainable development (green economy) and territorial governance.
Specific objectives
The study should analyze the context, the geographical and thematic scope of action and the implementation methods for a program aimed at:
SO1. "Resilience of flagship landscapes": Improve the governance and territorial management of 3 key landscapes, one forest, one coastal and one savannah.
SO2. "Resilience of flagship species": Improve governance and law enforcement to counter the trafficking of wild animal and plant species.
