Main goals
To bring out a strategy of capacity building and synergies between the main organizations involved in support to agrosilvopastoral sectors in Chad. Provision of the International Expert Pierre RICAU by RONGEAD to the Support Program for Local Development and Natural Resources Management (PADL-GRN) in Chad for the animation of the exchange workshop on Supporting approaches to market-oriented agrosilvopastoral sectors, which took place in N'Djamena on 23 and 24 October 2014.
Specific objectives
- Present the approaches and tools for strengthening the value chains developed by RONGEAD and IRAM / ACTING FOR LIFE
- Define axes of priority actions by broad categories of sector
- Identify capacity building needs that can be supported by the PADL
Beneficiaries
The organizations targeted by the workshop were representatives of technical ministries, international organizations, technical and financial partners and NGOs working in support of agrosilvopastoral sectors
Results
R1. The visibility of actions in support of agrosilvopastoral sectors at national level is reinforced
R2. The skills of the different actors are evaluated
R3. A stakeholder upgrade program is defined
