ODIEVAL - Carry out the mid-term evaluation of the EcoCajou project, for the processing of cashew nuts in Odienné in Côte d'Ivoire

Main goals
The Ecocajou project (2019-2026) was developed by Away4Africa and Ecookim Coop-Ca. The aim of the project is to contribute to a competitive and inclusive cashew sector in Kabadougou (north of Côte d'Ivoire) and to create added value, 1000 permanent jobs and a stable income for 3300 producers, processors and service providers.
Specific objectives
The objective of the mission is to carry out a mid-term evaluation of the project, under the supervision of Away4Africa, more precisely:
SO1. Provide insight into the effectiveness, impact and sustainability of interventions, from project start to finish
OS2. Based on these results, provide concrete and well-supported recommendations to all partners to ensure the sustainability of the project results after the end of the project

As a geographer, specializing in rural development, he has been based in West Africa since 2016. First stationed in Mali on behalf of Luxembourg cooperation, he then joined the team in 2021. Hands-on man, he coordinates agricultural activities in the north of Côte d'Ivoire around cashew-food production systems, forest resources (shea), product labeling as well as environmental conservation around the Comoé National Park. It is also involved in specific studies on value-chain, traceability and marketing
