CERTIBIO - Technical assistance to Eccokim for Organic cocoa certification and production

Main goals
In a context where the cocoa sector in Ivory Coast is facing an groing demand for certified organic beans, Ecookim wants to certify 9 organic cocoa cooperatives, by starting a voluntary program aimed at supporting 1,800 producers, or 200 producers per cooperative. Nitidæ, who already has the experience of supporting a cooperative organic certification in Ivory Coast, was chosen by Ecookim to support it in its project: "support for certification and production of organic cocoa"
Specific objectives
Accompany Ecookim in the process of organic certification of cocoa cooperatives and support for organic production through the establishment of a monitoring and support system for parcels

** A1. ** Sensitization and support for the identification of producers
** A2. ** Accompaniment to the procedures of the certification and setting up of the SCI
** A3. ** Training on technical itineraries adapted to fight against phytosanitary pressure and yield reduction: setting up a plot monitoring system (9 cooperatives x 3 plots over 3 years)
