Main goals

Perform the technical audit and the overall evaluation of the plant's process in particular with respect to the specifications of organic farming and the quality

Specific objectives

  • Evaluation of the RCN stock of a Tradin Organic partner plant
  • Evaluation of the processing plant and the critical points of the process

Results

R1. RCN quality control results for three main stocks (RCN stock destined for local processing, Organic stock destined for export to Vietnam, conventional stock destined for export to Vietnam). These results will include: sampling method, foreign matter content, KOR result, nut-count and empirical moisture assessment
R2. An assessment of the quality of the traceability procedures and compliance with the Organic specifications (verification of stocks records, separation of physical stocks, clear identification, labeling, batching, risk analysis and relationship to surfaces and number of certified producers ...)
R3. A report on the process evaluation of the RCN process line to Africa Négoce. This assessment of the process, buildings, personnel and inputs used will focus on the critical points

A1. Site visit and consultation of internal documents (quality procedures, tracking files, traceability files, organic process)
A2. Interviews with factory managers
A3. Quality control of RCN by sampling and measurement of KOR (kernel output ratio)

Holder of a Master of Science, "Agricultural Engineer and territories development" from the Institut Supérieur d’Agriculture (ISARA Lyon), he brings his expertise in agro-food/agricultural sectors' analysis and development, strengthening of supplychain actors (producers, private/public actors, agro-food industries...), socio-economic analysis of agricultural chains and his great knowledge of companies in these markets
