Main goals
Technical assistance to an export company for the conversion of cooperatives for 18 tons of sesame in Organic Agriculture from Senegal
Specific objectives
SO1. Analysis of the situation of the 3 cooperatives grouping 1000 sesame producers in Casamance and carry out a diagnosis for organic conversion
SO2. Evaluate the feasibility, the level of effort and establish an action plan to fill the 'gap' between current practices and those required by Organic Agriculture
SO3. Identify the relevant rotations, both to limit the risks and commercially promote all the products of the organic rotation
SO4. Technical assistance for the implementation of the conversion action plan (internal organization, ICS, technical itinerary, documentation, help in lifting non-compliance, mock audit, etc.)
SO5. Train the company's team to transfer skills to support and maintain certification
